I just got these. First one is a neat poison bottle (my first). It has a burst top and ribs running the length of the bottle on the front side. Back side is smooth. It is aqua in color and very crude. It stands 4.24 inches tall and says "POISONOUS". Nothing on the bottom. Got it for $1.00. The guy thought it was broken. The second is an ink of some sort. It has a sheared and tooled lip. It stands at 3.25 inches tall, and is almost cornflower blue in color. Nothing at all printed on it, but I love the color. This one and a couple other oldies were given to me for identifying some Civil War goodies. [:)] Can anyone tell me anything about them? I don't know much about inks or poisons.
Thanks in advance,
Joe
