Well, I took a weekend off from digging mostly to get some school work done, but it turned into a road trip to indulge my gun hobby.

A Colt 1903 Type 3 made in 1920

There's just something about a classic colt automatic pistol that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Traded my Beretta 96D Brigadier for it. I had never been much good with the beretta, and have always preferred smaller frame pistols. Couldn't pass this one up.

Any other gun nuts on this forum? [:D]

That's a sexy pistol, nice score!

Is it in good functioning condition?

Thanks Plumbata! As best I can tell it's in functional condition. I field stripped it and it looks well maintained.

I haven't gotten any range time with it yet, but I'm just itching to try it out and see how it shoots.

Thanks Mike! If you ever want to hit the range together we could have a pretty awesome time. Could bring out the Kalashnikov, Mossberg 500 12gauge, or the handguns (Colts / Glock 23).

How'd it go in Harriman yesterday?
