Picked this up today. Smooth base and a bit rough on the inside of the lip but I love the color and really liked the price ($15).

As I was unpacking last week this little bottle fell out of the paper. I had almost thrown it way. I have had it since the 70's when we lived in England. I always thought it was interesting since it was a British label and an American bottle.
The label is for chemist at 4 Church Road in Acton. The label on the neck reads, " Hood's Pills Improved coating perfected and adopted Jan. 1 1900"
I do not know what is embossed under the label. the other side reads in part...Hood & Co ****ll, Mass. USA" I guess it is Lowell...is that right.
It is a tiny bottle (1 1/2 ") so the pills must have been pretty small.

The wicker was already gone. I picked it up at a flea market in a nearby town when we were living in Germany. The dark green one had some poor wicker on it. It had been left out on the road for 'junking" day by a neighbor. the Aqua one had very nice wicker but twenty-five years of curiosity got the better of me last year.
I really can't remember when i bought the little bottle ....I got it when I started collecting at 12 years old....more years ago than I care to calculate!!!
