Nice finds! The quinine hair tonic is very nice. The Caldwell bottles are common as sin in Central Illinois, where Monticello IL is located. I had met a very interesting older gentleman who ran an antique shop in Monticello and sold/traded him several dozen i had dug, both BIM and ABM, for 2.50 each cash/store credit. He was selling them for 20 a piece and said that one time, a doctor with the name of Caldwell came in and bought 5 at once. Not too shabby.

Nice dig ! Like the tonic, agree that the Caldwells is VERY common. Dug lots of them.

Thanks guys, the Caldwells has embossing down each side also,the whole dump is in a stream bed that runs for abou an 1/8 of a mile,glass through the whole thing....I did a test spot 200 feet down from where i am digging now still hitting bottles!Most of the bottles are about 3-4 feet down in a really soft sandy/soil area.I won't get back till next week some time.

tried to look up your mill ville jar for you but can't make out what is on the reverse. could you please post the reverse?
