Here is my most recent find. Too bad it wasn't a bottle but I was still very excited when I dug it up.

DiggerBryan, nice find! Cool artifact even though it's not a bottle. Good luck in your collecting and digging! Paul [:)]

Howdy D.B,
Nice. If it's sharpened on both sides, It's a spearhead.
If only one side, It's a tool used for scrapeing hides.
Check your local museum. Could be a great writeoff.

Hello again, I think it is a scraper because one side is sharpened really fine and the other side is sharpened really rough. I took it to a local Indian artifact collector and he said it was only worth about $20.00. After all that was said and done he said he would buy it off of me for that. I think he is trying to cheat me. What do you guys think? If he is it's amazing that he would stoop so low to cheat a teenager. []

DiggerBryan,

Do not sell to this fella. Definitely DO take this item to a museum to have it assessed. A friend of mine up here in Canada found an arrow head embedded in a bone one day while out hunting and took it to the museum. Turned out it was over 10,000 years old!

Keep looking for more and good luck!!!

Brian
