Hey Mike,

I really like your machine gunner! I found one a few years ago, but he was headless.

Its nice to see that Dr Pierce made something other than his favorite prescription. That is a nice bottle, nice color too!! Thanks for posting.

Nice color on the Doctor Pierce Anuric tablets.

I love the green pierce's too! I wonder if I was bidding on it along w/ you on e-bay awhile back?.....I dug one years ago (aqua) and still have and love that little bottle, but I have a thing for regular bottles in unusual colors.....They look cool side by side. Joe

Nice, Mike. Anything in yellow is always sweet. I found a lime green Dr. Kilmer's at an antique mall for $19, and it brought $600 at auction.

When they mass-produced bottles for popular products like Kilmer's and Dr. Pierce's, a few goofy colored ones would come out occasionally when the glass batch was contaminated with leftover material from a previous batch of colored bottles. If they ended up with a few green or yellow bottles mixed in with the hundreds of clears or aquas, it wasn't a big deal, and they just used them. Quality control today would red flag them and throw them out, but I'm glad they didn't do that a hundred years ago. ~Jim
