It reads: A. Liebler Bottling Co.
Registered 402 & 404
West 126th Street N.Y.
On back: This bottle not to be sold

I couldnt find any info on it, except that a smaller half pint version exists (I have it) No records exist of dates or company history

Here are the family members and their company titles from 1915-16...

In 1892 a Mr. J. Lawrence was arrested for having 25 of the companies bottles in his posession and was fined $12.50 and went to jail for 6 days, tough stuff for using another bottlers products back in the day...

Here's a great early label from when they did some bottling for Jacob Ruppert...

Liebler Bottling Co., presumably its distribution hub on the banks of Spuyten Duvil Creek dividing Upper Manhattan from the Bronx. (Liebler bottled D.G. Yuengling Jr's. beer and produced its own ginger ale, soda water, etc.)

great info jim, but 1 thing, a codd bottle never existed. I know its listed on sodasandbeers but it doesnt exist. Did some research on it, nada, and the source from where the info came was unclear, no basis on the claim.
