Hello everyone!

My name is Brad and I am an Air Force guy currently living in England. I'm totally new to the bottle world, in fact, I just purchased my first lot yesterday at an auction.

So... after going through the box, I came across this poison bottle that seems to be of some interest. It is slightly more than 7" high and has Rd No 442142 embossed on the bottom. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to finding out information and value of this bottle?

Looking forward to chatting with you!

Here's a picture as it was found in the box... I have others if requested.

Thanks!
Brad

Hi Brad,

This bottle is definitely English. It dates from around 1900 and would have probably been used for holding Amonnia.

Hello everyone!

Thanks for the replies!

The embossing at the botton says: TIPPERS Animal MEDICINES. Here's a picture:

I'll also check the Resources section. Thanks for the info!

Cheers!
Brad

Thanks Dave!

Wow! You are quick to find the info! Well, as I said in my first post, I am completely new to all of this and haven't really tried to clean it. I guess I'm a bit confused if I should or not. Also, I don't really know how or what to use. I'm doing my homework on it here though!

Cheers!
Brad
