I see these things for sale all the time being touted as old or in this case extremely rare.

Antique Ball & Claw

Well for the unknowing they were produced in the 1960s and 70s by the T.C. Wheaton Glass Factory and are clearly marked Wheaton or Wheaton Village on the base. They made a bunch of different ones but they were never intended to decieve the public.

Interesting how they describe all the embossing in detail, but don't mention the WHEATON on the bottom. At least they're decent enough to post a photo of it.
