All this bottle says is : THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD The bottom of the it has NO 2 written on it. Can anyone comment on how old this bottle is and maybe who made it ?

it was made between 1880 to 1910.obear-nester or American glass works..maybe.

Thank you for responding to my post. What type of bottle is this ? I'm referring to the way the "cork" goes in the bottle.

The woods North of Spirit Lake, Idaho
Undoubtedly a BEER or SODA, most likely beer. The closure is referred to as a Lightning Stopper patented in the 1870s,It would have been a paper label as these were generic bottles made for anyone who wanted / needed them. As a company became more prosperous they usually had their own bottles produced with their information embossed. Jim
