Hi all,

Went for about a three hour river walk today, and all I have to show for it are some shards and a marble. There was a shallow 30s-40s dump with EVERYTHING broken.

Think I may go back to buying,,,,

Stoneware bottle shards and a broken insulator (one of many). One that I found was a spectacular blue green and was embossed H&G 1898. Don't hold me to that, but something close.

And finally, I got some expensive batteries for my camera (it is a battery snob, won't even recognize cheap ones.). Here is a shot for digswithstick of the milkglass block I dug recently. The indent is a perfect size for a finger tip of thumb.

Sorry I don't have anything exciting or interesting, the bottle gods forgot about me...[&:]

I believe that it held paint not finger but a paint brush.

Hey H J ,Don't give up the honey hole could be next dig or river walk ! That milkglass thing is different ,i would agree with Dan, looks like part of old paint set ,could be some sort of make up container too.Always like finding marbles ,not sure (still learning about them ) but it looks like an Akro cork ,it does not look broke (lol).Wish i could help with shard id .Camera is battery snob

That would be very cool, we will have to set something up. I was loving the OC horseradish bottles. Your small finds are always very interesting too.
