This bottle wasn't dug - I found it in a bush I had stopped by to change camera batteries, off the side of a trail at a state park while honeymooning (hocking hills ohio) I don't know if this was considered stealing, but, why leave it to lay there?

Sadly, I broke this bottle with just the slightest "ting" putting it back on the shelf one day. I refuse to part with it!
It's embossed with a nude angel (or woman) with a glass raised above her head and she's sitting on what looks like a wagon wheel. Do you think this was a beer bottle? It say's RC on the bottom, but I can't believe they'd put cola in a bottle with a naked lady on it! About what would the age and (intact) value be?

The front reads "Indianapolis Brewing Company, Indianapolis, IN"
The bottom reads "R.C. CO"

Lobeycat:

Clearly the bottle has a representation of Lady Liberty, or some other historical variant. I cannot discern the embossed image of sulidae, a large bird found throughout the world in warm tropical climates. Possibly, the image has concealed beneath her loosely fitting frock a hooded boobie, but the likelihood of this is discomfiting, at best.

An advanced night vision system to ha-Aretz ha-Muvtachat, "The Promised Land" in Hebrew? Obviously there is a significant historical cryptological meaning here. This requires further inquiry and could have sweeping implications on how we view ancient manuscripts from the Golden Crescent.

MILLIONDPI>>>Welcome to the Forum..[:)]
Yes, it is a beer bottle.
**oh...that's probably RG CO on the bottom...Root glass Co...Terre Haute Indiana 1901-32...

I'm kinda with Lobey on this...looks like the rare "bare-breasted winged Harpie" to me...

I have 4 different sizes & colors...and the image is slightly different on all 4.

I gave my Dad one I bought in a quart blob. I have one in regular crown with a partial label. Got it on Ebay maybe 4 or 5 years back
