Yes it is a 1/2 gallon. I was curious as to what are the typical charcteristics of a Crowleytown mason, or the first jars that were made... does anybody know. ? I think i am in possession of several of them, i just want to confirm it.

Crowleytown masons have a completely flat bottom.
They have a squarish shoulder and a sharply angled base.

Redbook # 1773 is attributed to a jar I found and reported.

Withs something thats rare, I would go to an auction house with them.

Ebay is a buyers market unless you have something really special.
What are you asking? You could acution them off here but the market is smaller.
