Odd shaped bottle

Any ideas on what this what used for. Forgive me if it is simple I am new at this

My guess is some kind of perfume. The flat side is very unique.

Hmm interesting. It doesnt give off any smell. All of the perfume bottles i have found so far have a slight smell lingering. I have found 2 of these so far but no information on them

Maybe after-shave lotion from the 60's-70's IDK (maybe earlier after looking again at the base 40's 50's?)

After that long they still smell... must have been expensive stuff.
