Does anyone know anything about this bottle? I found it diving in the fingerlakes of NY and i have no idea at all about what it was used for originally. Thanks!

The shape looks like a sauce or ketchup, but an amber one of those would be really unusual.

I have had this bottle for 20 years and still have no clue as to what its history is. Is there one of you super bottle sleuths out there that can help in any way? I'd really appreciate it, as time is running short. thanks.

It is most likely a malt beverage of some sort. It certainly resembles other marked examples I've seen. If there was embossing on it or a labeled example available to compare to it could be identified exactly, but as it is, it's only a guess as to it's use or manufacturer.
