old pair of glasses (picture)

I found old pair of wire glasses while digging for bottles , they are in surprisingly great shape for being buried the lenses are intact and in one piece. I dont think these are worth anything but still a nice unexpected discovery. If anyone has info on these (how old?, etc....) please share i would be very interested thanks.

Hi Junk!
I've seen many reproduction Civil War glasses that look exactly like your pair. I can't confidently give you a date, but you can put in a search for Civil War glasses in your search engine, and you'll find many glasses identical to the pair you found.
If you can date the bottles you've found in the same vacinity as the glasses to the Civil War era, its probably safe to say they're from that period.
