Here's one I just picked up
A rolled lip hinged mold GILBERT & ROYAL Co. PHILADa
Lots of whittling and really crude top!
Any ideas??

I have a pontiled Gilbert & Co. wholesale druggist Philada. Your bottle could be what Gilbert & Co. turned into later. I'm not sure but I think the Gilbert bottles are fairly common Philly meds

i'm travelling at the moment and dont have my normal resources but I think I remember Gilbert being with Royal possibly right after the civil war into the 1870s

Makes me wonder the actual number of philly meds....

Last time I was foolish enough to add them all up, Philly was close behind NYC and no other cities came close...
