I only own one like yours the worthless amber type.[:(] I acquired this bottle when I was 12 years old in a big block buster swap of 10 bitters bottles for an original straight roof Booz bottle. I am 52 now..... It is the Booz bottle pictured on the far right. I got very lucky and reacquired it last year at an outdoor auction.

Aaron here is some info you can run with... The patent date for the mold. The bottle did not appear on the market until 1870.

This is the best yet. This is an ad placed in a Philadelphia newspaper by William H Ware that I have in my collection. With a face like that who would be afraid to try Dr Gottlieb Fisch's bitters[:D]

In the top left hand corner you can see the fish bottle in the ad I just noticed it!! This newspaper is falling apart as I removed it from storage to photo it.It is going back into hiding for now. I have newspapers from 1755 in betters shape. Around 1870 is when the paper started to have acid in the making progress. This is why they dry out.!700s and early 1800s newspapers use rag cloth in the make up and no acid in the manufacture process.
