Other Pharmacy Bottle

Hi []

This is the other Pharmacy bottle I mentioned in the other thead. It about the same height as the one I have, but the bulbous part of it is bigger and the neck is shorter and a bit more tapered than the other one. It has a glass stopper, but there is no writing on the bottle. I held it up to the light and there are no star cracks [] . It does have a few small chips to the inner rim, but thats about it.

We are pretty sure it came from the same place as the other one, but it doesnt look like the other one.

I don't think that glass stopper goes with that bottle.

Is the inside of the lip in the bottle ground like the outside of the stopper?

I think it does have wear like the stopper. My great aunt can remember it from she was little with the same glass stopper. If its not original then it has been with it a very long time.

It's probably an afterthought, Sarah.

I don't ever recall seeing a bottle like that listed as having a glass stopper.
Usually the stoppers are the same color as the bottle, also, as they were made to fit the bottle.

Thanks woody [] I thought when I saw it, hmm why isnt that stopper black? [] but it does fit it quite well. I quite like the stopper - its got a lovely big airbubble in it.

I think I prefer the shape of the other one best. But this one is nice too [].
