Hadn't heard about the Pepsi 'Raw'. Usually like the older logos better, but that was a particularly nice modern one.
If I can go just slightly off-topic, I'd really be interested to hear from anyone who's tried any of the 'genuine cane-sugar' variations of Pepsi or Coke. Looking forward to it myself, and just wondering what you thought. Cheers, Bob
I've tried the Mexican Sugar Coke, but haven't found the sugar Pepsi. The Mexican Cokes were pretty decent, though with colas there doesn't seem to be a huge difference. Now the difference between corn syrup and sugar Mountain Dew is apparent.
I think soda with sugar has a "cleaner" taste. There is no weird aftertaste. This is what I've noticed when I occassionally buy a premium soda made with sugar.
And it's still better than artificial sweeteners.
Seems there's a new one of those every other decade.
And each time a new one appears, it's because the older one was found to be deadly!
And the new one is always praised as 'healthy'!
It's happened to all of them except the most recent, which even has a 'healthy' name!
How quickly we forget.
What will happen next? ( :
