Hi all, not to good at taking pictures, but hoping someone might be able to tell me what kind of bottle this is.

Didn't think about size, sorry. It's approximately 8 inches (including stopper) tall and 2 3/4 inches at the broadest point. I thought it might be alittle large for perfume, but haven't found any apothecary or druggist bottles that were similar. There are no markings anywhere, it does have a groove lenghtwise on 3 sides.

it is a commercial perfume. my wife collects them and has about 100 similar to that one. They often are embossed with the maker name like Woodworth, Lundburg, Wright, Tappan or others.

Thanks, do you have an idea about age and value or some place I can do some searching?
