Philadelphia malt bottle

This one of my better finds & wondering if anyone had any info. Embossed LOUIS GENOIS DIASTASIC MALT PHILADELPHIA. I'm guessing just a whiskey & 1890's? maybe a little earlier? Thanks for any info. Gordon

I haven't seen that one before, so it must be pretty uncommon. It looks exactly like the John Wyeth Extract of Malt. This must have been a case of a copycat brand trying to make consumers think it was just as good as Wyeth's.

Its a malt extract food supplement. I have seen a few but they werent as crude as that one.
