pill bottle?

says BAUER & BLACK down the front and B&B in a currsive writing on the bottom has a weird mouth dont know how it worked any help please?

Bauer & Black is still in business. They sell medicines and just about anything related to the medical field.

I beleive this is a jar designed to hold gauze.I have a larger one with a lid I dug.Probably dates to around 1900.

I can only find two bottles but they only have Bauer (no black)
Your top should be called either Groved ring or Stacked Ring
