Pistol Barrell found in Belize

Can any one temple what this is? It looks like a pistol barrell but cant tell for sure. It has no markings. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It appears to be a barrel from a 1700's era flintlock or some such, there may be some markings on the top of the breech end even though it looks like a portion of that end is gone. may be impossible to tell for sure.

Thanks..looks like that indeed, unfortunately no markings...still a good keeper...
