Hi,
I found this amber bottle. It looks like a poison. It is about 4.75" high. The base has an "F" in a hexagon. The cap has the word VICTOR - 24 on the inside. Seams go to lip. Looking for age, use, manufacturer, etc.. The dump I was digging contains items from 1858-1940's. Thank you.

Matt

That mark is Fairmount Glass Co. 1933-1968. Seems to date between in the 1950-60 period, maybe 40's. may be poison or some other medicine.

They are from a trash pit area at an abandoned farmhouse site. I only found 15 intact bottles ranging from 1880's to 1940's. Numerous Mason pieces, some Dreys, Orange Crush (1920), early sodas, etc.. It looks like it was not the main trash area, so there could be another trash pit on site. Also, I haven't found the privy yet. I will post pics of all the bottles I found from the trash pit.
