This earthen bottle has somewhat of an irregular shape, and has a distinct manufacturer's mark, as well as a number. All I have learned so far is that this company is a French ceramic products factory that operated between 1820 and 1957. The only pieces I've seen from Pont des Vernes were significantly more refined than this bottle, leading me to think that this may be older, or perhaps hurriedly made during wartime.
Any info or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
