I did some trading with my digging buddy to acquire these two great pontiled inks that we recently dug.

The first one is an emerald green shouldered cone. These are quite hard to find. Aside from some usual light haze from being buried, this one is perfect.

Nice, big pontil. I would like to know which glasshouses or region of the U.S. were known or believed to produce these. If anyone can offer any help there, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is a brilliant deep citron or lime green pontiled umbrella. The color on this one is just killer.

Another nice, jagged pontil. This one has a wicked uneven base, the glass was still soft when the pontil rod came off. This color is something else. I would say it is deep citron or lime green, but if you look at it a certain way, it appears to have a little olive in it as well. Anyone want to offer their opinions on the color?

Jim,

Nice inks the shouldered cone is very likely to have been produced at a New Jersey or Philadelphia glass house. The umbrella is also likely produced in NJ but could also have been blown in Baltimore. Its not a mold I'm positive is Baltimore But the color is one produced here quite regularly.

Thanks, everyone. I was very happy to be able to end up with these inks. We almost never dig pontiled inks of any kind.

Chris, Thanks for the great information. Now that you mentioned it, I do recall seeing some Baltimore pieces with that odd bright green. It is certainly a beautiful color. ~Jim
