Any help would be appreciated on this one.
Light green rounded bottom with small hole indent in base.
Slugplate reads top to bottom: RETURN
TO
ARTESIAN MFG
&
BOTTLING CO.
WACO, TEX
AND
ST. LOUIS, MO
the 'Artesian Mfg' line is the top part of a circle; 'Waco, Tex' line is the bottom part and thusly encloses the centeral line 'Bottling Co'.

It's a crown seal closure...very early. Bottle is very heavy.
Apparently not meant to be stood upright by it's base, but is this not an anomaly with a crown seal?
Is this before or after the 'thieves' bottle?
Photo of the base follows...
Thanx

Here is the base.

Seams do not reach the top. Applied crown?

texas guys and D P guys, this might be up your alley.
If anyone can help date or place this, I'd love it.

HERE IS THE PHOTO OF THE BASE.
Obviously not meant to be standing. As I usderstand the reasonings for that, it seems to be at odds with there being a crown seal top.
Any help putting this into the time-line with this Waco bottler would be appreciated.
Before the 'thieves' bottle is my current guess.

Quoted from the book DR PEPPER COLLECTIBLE BOTTLES, by a picture of your bottle,
"1903 Applied Aqua Crown
Top Glass Bottle.
Comments: Embossed
“RETURN TO ARTESIAN
MFG & BOTTLING CO.
WACO TEX. And ST.
LOUIS, MO.†This was an
early “Crown Top†closure
used for Circle A Ginger Ale.
Embossed lettering was direct
and not inside a slug plate. It
used a paper label."
Thief bottles were introduced in 1901 and the King of Beverage bottle in 1905.
