A buddy and I dug a 5' X 5' X 7' deep outhouse on Thurs. afternoon. It was circa 1905-10 and probably had around 300 bottles in it. Too bad that they were all junk. At least 40 whiskey fifths and not one embossed. Tons of ketchups, condiment bottles of all shapes and sizes, and plenty of imported Scotches. Phooey. The only keepers were a few cobalt meds and some local prescriptions. The rest went back into the hole for fill. All BIMAL, but worthless to me.

We are goin' back in a few minutes to try and locate an earlier hole. The house is from the '70. and there HAS to be another 2 holes. I'll take the digital and use it if the bottles are worth a look.

Good luck, Mike. It sucks to do all that work for little reward, but hopefully you'll score on the next one. Jim
