I hope nobody watching Oak Island thinks a probe should be designed or used the way archaeologist Laird and helper Alex just illustrated. Jeez...

It was in the excavation of the circular stone feature. The probe was a half-inch rod about 8 ft. long that Alex tried pushing in on the perimiter area a couple of times. With no T-handle, it looked a little awkward, then he got down into the hole and slammed it into the ground once or twice. Not good had there been any fragile artifacts in his way!
