I had never heard of a quart sized Codd bottle, but was browsing the internet this morning and ran across this pic of an antique store in Hawaii. I was admiring "all the pretty colors" when I noticed that the yellow bottle looks a lot like a Codd bottle.Am I misunderstanding what I think I'm seeing, or are there really quart sized Codd bottles and I've just never heard of them.Tod von Mechow's site says they are unknown in quart.

Definitely is a codd, it would help if I could read what the codd or beer were embossed.

That's a Groves Whitnall Globe Codd from Salford (I just googled "Globe Codd", I don't have every Codd memorized or anything). I'm not sure that it's a quart though. Looks kind of regular-sized next to that blob. Unless the blob itself is much larger than normal.

Ah! Now see? When you give it that kind of perspective I can see it normal sized now. Thanks! I was looking at the bottles closer to it, and thinking the beer next to it was a quart size (roughly).
