Random market find

Hey everyone. This is my first post on the forum. Please excuse me if I have this in the wrong section.
I was at a random market today and found this bottle labeled as an Ontario Veterinary college bottle. I got it for a song and dance. I am curious is anyone knows anything about it. Thanks!

Hi, welcome.That's not a lot to go on for me to go on but a quick search says it opened in 1862 and is still in operation. A better description and a picture of the bottle would be helpful.

very nice bottle . It looks like a bulk pharmacy , used to fill smaller prescription bottles. 1880s to 1910 or so.

Thanks for the info. I was really drawn to this bottle because of it's weight. It is substantially heavy. It must have been a challenge to deal with full.
Anyone have any idea on the cVc embossed on it?

Thanks! Considering what it was labeled it keep thinking it's ovc. But my eyes are seeing cvc. Maybe it's just a very liberal interpretation on the monogram.
The folks selling this might have also had it miss labeled.
I have not been collecting very long, but this is the first bottle of this style I have come across. Do many of these surface?
