RARE PEPSI & CHASE

Here's a couple of rare ones that came out of a local estate yesterday. Too bad they have some fade both are early hard to get ACL bottles. The 1st one is a very rare (I HAVE SEEN THREE COUNTING THIS ONE IN MY 30 YEARS OF COLLECTING ) ACL script pattern small 7 oz Chase from Dyersburg Tenn. It did not have a white background just the red script on front and back. I saw a mint one of these last year and another with fade like this one years ago and that's the crop. The second is a rare 1st type ACL Pepsi Cola bottle with the embossed Grand-Pop on the neck . It is from Cinn Ohio. Too bad it has fade maybe one day I can find a minty one. The upper neck ACL is the early Pepsi Cola logo.

Sure wish the ACL on this one was a little better I thought about a touch up with one of my paint pens but that would probaly destroy the value even though it would look much nicer. I have been on the lookout for a nice one for years but they are tough to come by. BOB

Its a WW2 1942 dated. bob

Nice Pepsi! That just jarred my memory. I have an ACL Pepsi somewhere (from 40s or 50s) that has something about from a 'Food Service' under the logo. McDirt, do you know the one I'm talking about? Do you know the deal on it? I keep meaning to go find it and research it but I keep forgetting about it. If you don't know, I'll look for it this weekend and take a picture of it. Just wondering.

Wonkapete- It sounds like you are talking about a "Dossin's" Pepsi. Does that ring a bell?

Acls...yep, I believe that's the name on it. I'll see if I can find it so I can post a pic.

I actually found it right away and snapped these pics. Maybe you guys can tell me about it. I've never researched it. It's dated '48.
