Dug a 10 foot brick liner yesterday and today. All but the bottle farthest left and third from left are open pontiled. All are damaged except the champagne and the 2 unembossed ones to the right of it. This pit was brutally sparce and what came out was pretty beat up. So was I after todays digging!

Here is a pic of the ink, embossed R B Snow/ St./ Louis, about 2 1/8" tall. So small and STILL gets damaged! GRRRR! Frustrating, for sure!

The last one out of the hole, a Montague's// Balm// For The/Teeth. Thought it was a good one with a couple minor lip flakes until I discovered a pinhead sized hole in the shoulder as it began "peeing" on me! Perfect end to the day, I thought! Still pretty cool looking. Looks older than dirt and very delicate. O'Dells book listed it with advertising in the 1830's, but that's about all I could find on it.....

Lastly, this nice darker than usual green guy came out perfect, and unembossed! Still a pretty one......

Man, those are some great finds. The Snow is a rare one and what a shame. I love the patina on the Montague's. Good stuff, Jack!
