Here is a flasks I don't ever remember seeing before Shag & I dug this one last year.. It is a GI-79 Grant -Union eagle.. Not as easy on the eyes as some of the early portrait flasks but rare and cool, nonetheless.. The bust doesn't look much like anyone but it supposed to be Ulysses Grant and was probably used in his campaign in 1869. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Union-Wreath flasks have any relation to this one? Thanks for any feedback.

I am only able to oil it because of some deep stress cracks in the lip I don't want to chance a tumble. The deep fold under the wreath is huge and really cool.
