WORK? Heck man thats fun, I have been doing this for 12 years now and just love this time of the year, I am doing jelies now and look for different things to make jelly form, this week it's goiong to be wild grape jellie and pear, just cant wait
we did these on friday night, all hot peppers done with a sweet brine. cant wait..
keep canning. I got those grandma wheatons glass top jars when I bought a basement/shed collection. That kind of collection is the kind that the wife or husband says, not in my house.
bought the new platium jars for jellies. got to love them new hp. ball jars, super squatty

Great lookin eatables guys. I used to can all summer long. Butter beans, field peas, squash, tomatos, corn, string beans, scupernogs, fruits, greens, black berry and blue berry jellies and jams, chow chow and many other things. Grew the vegies myself and picked the berries and scups on my property. The chow chow I made from wild mustard, wild garlic, wild onions, different kinds of peppers and some other ingredents. Some good eatin.
