I think we need a 60-70 year old person from Bennington now. [:D]Brandon, can you post a picture of yours? I wonder if it was a relabeled bottle from the same place. All I've seen are the Bennington and the only thing different was Rhubarb were peppermint or some other extract.

A number of the Laconia, NH ones popped up around the same time as I started seeing the ones from Vermont...I'll try to get a photo of mine this evening. I've never seen one of the Laconia ones for sale online but they pop up in shops from time to time. I think whoever had these made had some labels kicking around and used them.

I'd love to know who manufactured the bottles (I'm guessing one of those Chinese outfits) and who has been hawking them. They started showing up what, maybe 3 years ago, and they seem to be New England sourced. Jim G

I actually picked mine up nearly 10 years ago, so they've been in circulation for some time, but definitely distributed somewhere in the Vermont/New Hampshire area as that is where I have seen them all from. Here are some photos of my aqua example. The R.F. Moore Chemical Co. was a solidly 20th century company as you can see by the two authentic bottles from the same company. I love the screwtop one where they crossed out cure and stamped remedy.

I didn't know they'd been in circulation that long. I started seeing the Bennington labels in about the last 4 years. My Mom has an extensive collection of VT meds so we took notice, but the bottles are so obviously modern junk upon close look that we weren't duped. Jim G
