Thanks everyone. Surface, the long twisty ones are coconut oil bottles ~ over here sometimes called "Soetolie" or sweet oil.

Majority of people in this world feell luky when find an only one strange bottle in the lifetime.

It's a bit of a mystery to me too, Alex. I tend to go with what others have said. I have seen glass tooth paste pots, rectangular, but not usually as ornate as this.
