Same bottle different label

Has anyone found embossed bottles with different labels? I have found a Lydia Pinkham with a Sawyer's label, and I've found a JSP with a wocstershire sauce label. Just wondering if this is common. Thanks.

I've seen a ton of repurposed bottles since I started colecting, very common practice back in the day...

seen it quite a few times. It happened for various reasons.

I used to have some early directories, sort of like our phone books of today, and there were companies that bought & sold used bottles. I've seen all sorts of repurposed bottles over the years, it was a pretty common practice at the turn of the 20th century.
