hi everyone, went digging for a couple of hrs. today. didn't find a lot in the way of bottles. did find a pretty salt shaker, odd that the bottom of it is totaly smothe, flat. found a houbigant powder bottle, havn't clean the inside as the top is crimped on, neat that you push the little piece on the top to open the holes. would of love to have found the teal piece whole. did find a lot more crock pieces. thanks for looking, rhona

Hey Rhona,

That bottle top is a cryer. Got some good age on it too. The salt shaker is crystal that is why the bottom is flat and smooth, it is polished.

I've been a victim of the "shard epidemic" lately. Hundreds of brokens and no whole ones except slicks. Save the good ones for your crying towel.

That salt shaker is really neat. It's too bad about the shards. I find more shards then anything. Maybe all those pieces will pay off and you'll find a whole one. []

hi mike, warren, pd and krystal, thanks for looking and the information on the salt shaker. the picture dosn't do it justice. you would think with all the additional crock pieces i would have at least find a couple of pieces to the one i'm trying to put together. thanks for looking. rhona
