sauce jar

I think this is a sauce jar,it's a two part with applied blob top.it also has a pontil bottom with (C.S & Co) embosed.does anyone have any info on this jar.it is about one quart in size.

Thanks for the reply and info guys,i will post pics of the base,it has a deep kick up and emosed similar to the one in your picture.
