Hi everyone - I have seemed to amass a lot of bottles and want to start to sell off some of my collection. I tried selling a few here and there on e-bay, but have found that it may just be easier posting them in here and seeing if anyone wants to purchase them outright.
First up is a set of three Coca Cola Soda Water bottles. They have the square bodies, with the 6 stars around the shoulder. They are in fair condition. Attached is are some photos, and I will attach more photos if you need...just send me a message.
The bodies look like they have gone through the refilling machines quite a bit.
Here are the descriptions for each:
Left bottle:
This is a kind of aquamarine blue/green tint (but lighter than the one on the far right)
Bottle has the words Soda Water on the shoulder on both the front and the back.
Under this on the front, it says Property of Coca-Cola - on the back it says Bottling Co. Con. 6 FL OZ
At the very base of the front, it has the numbers 1188EG23 and at the base of the back side it has PAT No. 49729
When you tip it over, it says North Chicago in a half circle, and ILL. in the center.
The lip at the top has a few dings out of it, and at the very bottom, there looks like there is a semicircl francture that appears on the inside. There is the obvious wear and tear on the outside shown in the photos as before stated, probably from going through the machines.
Middle bottle:
This bottle appears to be a clear colored glass bottle.
Bottle has the words Soda Water on the shoulder on both the front and the back.
Under this on the front, it says Property of Coca-Cola - on the back it says Bottling Co. Con. 6 FL OZ
At the very base of the front, it has the says PAT NOV 27 - 1923 and at the base of the back side it has some numbers that are worn away that look like they are spaced out and read 12G4
When you tip it over, it says North Chicago in a half circle, and ILL. in the center.
The very bottom, there appears to be some glass that has chipped away on the very outter rim underneath, but still appears to be relatively smooth to the touch, and does not hinder it from standing upright. There is the obvious wear and tear on the outside shown in the photos as before stated, probably from going through the machines.
Right bottle:
This is a kind of aquamarine blue/green tint (but darker than the one on the far left)
Bottle has the words Soda Water on the shoulder on both the front and the back.
Under this on the front, it says Property of Coca-Cola - on the back it says Bottling Co. Con. 6 FL OZ
At the very base of the front, it has the numbers Pat NO 49729 and at the base of the back side it has 1188EG23
When you tip it over, it says Grays Lake in a half circle at the top, and ILL. in a half circle at the bottom.
At the very bottom, there looks like there are a few fractures that mostly appear on the inside. There is also a smaller chip on the outside where one of the fractures is, that wraps around the very base of the bottle. There is the obvious wear and tear on the outside shown in the photos as before stated, probably from going through the machines.
All bottles will be bubble wrapped securely, and shipped priority mail with delivery confirmation in one box. The price for shipping will be a standard $12 additional to the sale price and can be shipped to anywhere in the USA.
