New to the forum, long time collector. I have an unusual oil bottle I’ve bought and haven’t been able to quite find its origin. With the language it appears to be French,
“Petrole De Luxe†and the other side reads, “Luxus-Petrolâ€. The bottom reads, “8525†inside a diamond and below that “Mod. Dep†Near the neck of the bottle it looks as though this was frosted/etched in to the glass “Z + 9†underlined and then “19†and below that “51â€, I’m guessing the top number read 19, but it’s really separated….it very well could be a “0†or and “8â€.
Let me know if you’ve ever had one of these, or the value it may be at. Like I said, I’ve searched my Gas/Petrolia books and haven’t found much info there and not much on Google either. Any help would be appreciated.
