Thanks to this great site, I was able to hook up through Joe (Relicsnstuff) this beautiful deep olive and iron pontiled Conant squat from New Orleans on a recent visit to the Big Easy just over a week ago. I didn't get to meet Joe himself, but I did get to hook up with his digging partner Willie who kindly sold me this bottle that he had dug about a year back at one of their all-time sites, where I believe a WalMart now sits. My goal is to try to get a colored squat from each mainland city I visit, hopefully each time from a digger with provenance like this one. Thanks Joe!
BTW, please bear with me if this pic is not embedded properly. This is my first attempt on a new computer with my dig. camera. The free software offered through Admin Help is no use to my Mac, but I'll be getting Photoshop in the next week or so if this is just too big and ugly. I hope not, because the bottle's a beaut.
