Hello,

I'm new here so forgive me if I don't do something right. I have a 2-1/2 inch tall clear seamed bottle in the shape of a man with a checked jacket and a frown on his face. I would like to know if anyone has ever seen one? And what did it hold? A doctor used to live on this farm back in the early 1900's so I'm thinking it has to do with something medicinal. There seems to be no marking. Please email me at my email address at Email address removed to avoid Lynda receiving spam. - Admin
Thank you
Lynda

Hi S. C.

You could be right on the top being a hat. I should have taken a photo of the opening. It lookes like the type of opening like a Tobasco Sauce bottle. You don't want too much at once to come out. So it could be a candy container, but the candy would have to be about the size of a beebee.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Greetings all. Your little bottle could be a candy container, but it could also have been a liquer sample. It's much too small to be a pickle relish jar, and the mouth is too narrow.
A friend of mine specializes in figurals, so I will see what he knows.
