small unidentified ink like object

went digging in new lex with jguis today and came up with this little guy it puts me in mind of an ink but not sure it is a three piece mould and has a hand flared lip it looks and feels kinda old
hope it's an ink it would be my first one!

here is one pic for now i will ad some more in a few

we dug for hours and did'nt find anything but this in one piece there were pieces and parts of good things all over old ground lip canning jars ,auqa meds and jguis dug a busted electric bitters[]

here is a diff. angle of the little bottle hope it is an ink (but knowing my luck[:'(])

It looks more like a small apothecary.

Not really the right form for an ink. Maybe medicine or polish.

The wife dug a pile of those with partial content. They are fingernail polish. There are square ones too.

thanks guys! no ink[] oh well there is aways next time! cap: fingernail polish was the last thing on my mind but with gunther also saying med or polish i figure it's polish (bow to the wisdom of the bottle wizards) now.... any guess on it's age[]

I got this one in aqua much like yours. Great lip on your bottle though. Age: pre 1900 is right maybe late 1880's. Nice find all the same It is one of my favorite bottles. Found a brush in it also, polish I presume.
