First of all, thank you to the people who replyed to my posts with their words of encouragement! I am enjoying this forum!

In my very first dig last week I found a small, white (milk glass?) disc. At first I thought it was a saucer for a child's tea set. Yesterday I found another disc, same size but a slightly different bottom. I did some research last night and it appears they could be liners for the early mason jars. Does this sound correct? Thanks for your help and words of encouragement! [:)]

Those jar caps are allways a faveret of mine too. I was told that there are even rare green ones too. If anyone knows if there is any value in saving them or are they just fun to collect, let me know.
