Hi everybody this pictures shows some of the many soda bottles I've dug up or found lying around construction sites over the years. The RC Cola I found in an old dump in PA maybe three years ago the others all came from my most recent job site. From left to right we have the RC Cola probably from the 40's, then an embossed DR PEPPER, the green one with the round embossing has on the bottom O.C.B. CO. Washington DC and a pat. date of July 15, 1924, then we have a Budwine with embossed over the name "The Food Drink" and below the name "Makes you Glad Your Thirsty" and on the back side it has BAIN'S BOTT. WKS. ESTABLISHED 1887 PETERSBURG, VA, next is an embossed Pepsi Cola from the 20's?, and finally a Washington Bottle Co Coca-Cola bottle. I have lots of other soda bottles but I'll have to dig them out take pictures and share them with you all. It really amazes me how many and varied soda bottles are out there to be dug up.

I have this Coke bottle with no script embossing on it does anyone know anything about it? Can't remember when or where I dug it up. I'v had it for years and I was going through my stored bottles and it popped up. See picture

The Coke bottle is what they called a Transition bottle. Both Applied Color Label and embossed. Coca-Cola was printed on both sides. The embossing shows the size and REG US PAT OFF (Registered US Patent Office) The ACL is gone off of your bottle. The ACL didn't hold up well on the early ACL bottles. The bottle is from 1960 (I could see the Date Code on the skirt in the photo). Also on the Transition bottles Coke did not put the City/State on the bottom.

Thanks digdug. I'll put that info with the bottle so in future years or when my son gets these things he will already have some information to start with. Thanks again.

My favorite is the 3rd from the left.
The Pepsi looks like a "Drum Pepsi" - with the triangles around/looks like a drum... that's a pretty good one.

I went through a box today and pulled these out I found most of these in the woods lying on top of the ground.
