Some bottle pictures from Laws, California

Pyrex made a ruby drug bottle. I have one and I saw one on eBay last week. They are not particularly old but very nice color.
I believe they still make lab ware in this color for particular situations.

The biggest difference with the modern red and the Anchor Hocking Royal Ruby Red is that Anchor Hocking used gold to make the red color and the others use copper.

It probably has a big 50 on the base for 1950. These three are 1950, 1950 &1953 and are the most common of the Royal Ruby Red.
