some finds from a large roadside dump

seem to be having good luck along roads i wouldn't normally drive down or have never been down before . found a very large roadside dumping area along a concession road near where it meets the provincial highway a couple days ago. most of the stuff so far seems to be from early to mid 60's but i also found an older section that appears to be from 30's - 40's . lots of rusty food cans i'd say thats over 80'% of whats there . but i did find some other items . had taken a picture of it but couldn't get it to load keeps saying its too big and after i edited it you can't see anything .

here's some of what i found first day - a corona jar , some maple syrup bottles , one is tiny verison , lots of certo mixers and some broken milk jugs . 2 had writing on them . one appears to be from sudbury , Ontario which is a mining town 2 hours north of here no idea how it got here .
reads " property of Palm Dairies LTD , Sudbury , Not Sold , Phone 8-8391 " no idea when they used 5 digit phone numbers here .

also found lots of metal license plates from early to mid 60's but most are too rusty to be saved , these 2 are the best ones i've found so far a 63 and 66 ontario plate

the most interesting finds so far has been some older medical tonic bottles . found 4 so far that weren't broken all are screw top versions and from older section of dump .

found some more stuff on the second day i was there , 2 large 30 oz pop bottles , one for Private Brands Beverage of Toronto , and a Festival Dry which was a ginger ale product of Kist . also found some broken pop bottles including pepsi and kist . a small crown jar and another tonic bottle . for Henry k Wamplole and Co .

The Burdock Blood Bitters cleaned up , from what i read production stoped around 1930's for this product so dump must have a little bit of age definity don't think it was being produced by the 60's from what i read.

the festival dry bottle is in pretty rough shape . i don't know much about this ginger ale other than it was a product of Kist .
back label is faded but was able to read it when turned the right way

found a nice watkins bottle , it seems to be fairly old however watkins still in business today so it might not be that old . the bottle is in good shape though .

the Rv Pierce bottle from Buffalo NY , don't know much about this bottle other than it seems to have been a fairly large company back then and i guess its products were sold north of the border as well .

Buffalo NY is embossed in large letters of the one side , don't recell finding any bottles from this company before in this area .

neat embossing on the Henry Wamploe bottle , don't recall finding this bottle before as well . from what i saw online it was a large company from philadelphia but don't know much about it .
